Wholesale Policies 2021




Thank you for your interest in Lefler DesignStudio jewelry. Please note that our products are offered at wholesale cost to retailers with a valid sales permit ID for the purpose of resale only. To be approved please complete the buyers form on our website. We will process your request as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 business days, and, once approved, you will receive login information that will allow you to access our online Wholesale Catalog. 


All prices are listed in US dollars. All authorized retailers will receive wholesale pricing, which is 50% of set retail prices which is the suggested retail price (“SRP”). Due to the nature of the materials we work with, prices and availability are subject to change without notice. 

The SRP is the minimum price for which retailers are permitted to sell Lefler 

DesignStudio products. Retailers may sell our products for a price in excess of the SRP, but are not permitted in any circumstances to sell any products for less than the SRP without our express prior written permission. 


All work is designed and constructed by Terri Lefler. All pieces are individually made so variations will occur within any given design. This also enables us the ability to fine-tune some of the details in your order to better suit the shopping trends of your clientele. 

The list of policies below is to clarify any questions that you might have concerning your order, and how it will be handled once it is placed. If, after reading this, you have any further questions or comments, please contact me. 


Because each piece is handmade, most designs can be made with your stone and/or size preference. Most orders will require a minimum of two to four weeks, depending upon our current schedule, for completion. We will quote you a shipping window when you place your order. Feel free to contact us with questions about current timelines. We do our best to accommodate any deadlines, so please let us know if you have a need-by date. 


Minimum first time order is 10 pieces with a minimum purchase amount of $300 plus shipping. The minimum reorder amount is $200 plus shipping. 


Payments can be made by check, credit card (AmEx, Visa, and MasterCard) or PayPal. First time orders must be paid in full before production can begin. Reorders must be paid in full before shipment (50% at time of order and 50% when ready to ship). Payment at time of shipment or net payment terms may be available after your credit card has been verified and your account established. 


We welcome your clients’ Custom Orders. All custom orders require a non-refundable down-payment to Lefler DesignStudio equal to half of the purchase price and paid prior to production. Custom orders, such as rings or stones that may have to be ordered, can take longer to produce so there may be an additional fee or costs for custom pieces. Please contact us to discuss so that your customer has accurate pricing information. 


Depending on our schedule rush orders may incur a 15% fee dependent upon complexity of design and lead time. Rush Service may not always be available - please call or email to inquire as to our scheduling availability. 


All orders, unless requested otherwise, are shipped USPS First Class and include insurance unless buyer chooses to omit insurance. Other carriers may be used at the retailer's expense. International orders are subject to various customs restrictions and may have different shipping requirements. International retailers are responsible for all shipping, duty fees and taxes that may occur. 


Orders cannot be cancelled if already shipped. Orders cancelled while the order is in progress will be charged a cancellation fee of 15%. Orders scheduled 30 days out or more may be cancelled without fees or penalties. See section on Custom Orders for additional information. 


Any items that are handcrafted to your specifications cannot be returned or refunded for reasons other than defects in production. Exchanges of undamaged, 

salable-conditioned products that have not been customized are accepted if you’ve noticed a particular piece is just not selling. If you wish to exchange an item, notify me for approval before you ship the item. 


All of our jewelry is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase. This includes loose stones, faulty soldering, and the like. Any such repairs will be made for free during the warranty period. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, or damage incurred from accident or improper handling or storage. We do not cover strike damage, such as dropping. Any repairs after the warranty or due to damage or normal wear and tear will incur a fee. 


If your order is damaged or incorrect upon arrival, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt to process your return. Please retain all packing materials in case a claim must be filed with the carrier. DO NOT attempt to repair your jewelry yourself - doing so will void your warranty. 

Returned merchandise will be repaired or replaced with new merchandise if unable to be repaired. Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 10 days after receipt or if returned without contacting me to report damage or defects as outlined above. The retailer is responsible for all return shipping charges. 

Shipments that have been determined to be lost, after thoroughly researching the package through delivery confirmation tracking, will be replaced if shipping insurance was included for the entire value of the order. For both circumstances, a monetary refund will not be given. 


Sometimes your client may request an adjustment to a Lefler Design item you have such as in the length of a bracelet or ring size. We are happy to make the alterations when feasible. Please contact us to discuss the needed alteration so we can determine the time and materials necessary to make the alteration and provide the associated fee if applicable. 


Due to the handmade nature of our fabrication process and the materials used, no two items will ever be exactly the same. The items pictured in the Lefler DesignStudio wholesale collection are a close representation of the finished items you will receive. 

By completing an order and receiving an invoice from Lefler DesignStudio, you hereby state that you have read, understand, and comply fully with the listed terms & conditions by Lefler DesignStudio. You agree to comply fully with Lefler DesignStudio terms & conditions for the entire duration that you carry & sell Lefler DesignStudio products.
